Author's note

I introduced my eight year old son to the popular 3x3 cubed puzzle by the Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik that celebrated it's 40th Birthday in 2014. I taught him how to complete it using the logical method, two years later after many happy hours of teaching and learning he had this great idea for this typeface. We used a matrix of three 3x3 cubes stacked three high to make a 9x9 grid to pay homage to the original design. We released the fully embeddable version complete with numbers and lowercase letters commercially on Etsy on the 10th November 2016 feeling seriously puzzled the day after the recent USA Presidental Election @ http://etsy.me/2g1C7sb
